Connect Plus Therapy provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Due to changes in legislation, most health insurance plans cover ABA services to children with ASD. We currently provide these services through private insurance to South Jersey and throughout Philadelphia and the suburbs.
Our home and community-based ABA services are person centered and family driven. We take the time to do an intensive planning process to focus on the socially relevant goals personalized to your child’s needs. We work together with the early intervention, special education, and other professionals to maximize each child’s learning opportunities. Our agency currently serves children as young as 18 months of age through adulthood. We provide quality assurance to our families. What is ABA
ABA Therapy comes in many forms. While many people think that ABA is simply about reducing unwanted behaviors, it is actually the way we teach and support children acquiring new adaptive behaviors as well. Typically the services are provided in your home. Just like every person with autism is different, every person’s treatment plan will be different. Do you see your child doing very structured activities at a table top to learn school readiness skills? Do you have a picture in your mind of your child on the floor of the playroom with all their favorite toys, starting to use language to share their wants and needs? Or do you see your teenager who has struggled to make friends join into a group of welcoming teens to talk about the latest version of a popular video game? All of these visions could be supported by the use of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Sometimes programming may consist of you and a Behavior Analyst sitting and talking about your worries and dreams for your child, and designing together the steps towards reaching those goals. Other times, a Behavior Technician will be demonstrating techniques to set limits and help teach the boundaries needed for a child to be included in the community and be safe. Therapy can happen in all places … we refer to them as environments. Therapy happens at the dinner table, in the tub, at the local library and in even in your place of worship. ABA is the technology through which we learn and support everyday skills needed to have a full and meaningful life.
Connect Plus strives to work with the family using person centered approaches to decide how services with be delivered. What does “person centered” really mean? It means that programming takes into consideration the person receiving therapy and their motivations. What does the person and their family see for their future? What supports are needed to achieve the vision?
Connect Plus provides 10-30 hours a week depending on the individual needs for the child and family

The top will house our administrative offices and will be our hub for the BCBA’s and the behavioral techs. The entire first floor will be a drop in clinical space. Stay tuned for our grand opening!
Home or community-based ABA services include assessment by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), individualized planning, and daily treatment by a Behavior Technician. Our clients are typically approved for 12-30 hours of therapy weekly as well as planning, oversight, and parent training by a BCBA. Our therapists acknowledge families as central to any successful intervention and understand that nobody knows your child as well as you.
Therapy sessions typically consist of 2-3 hours of intensive intervention. Services can be provided in a variety of environments, dependent upon the focus of the individualized treatment goals.
