Melanie Skoofalos

Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer, Melanie oversees the operations and procedures of the company and improves the company culture, quality and vision.  She secures the functionality of the business, evaluates and interprets data and drives growth.  Assisting the CEO and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer fall into Melanie’s responsibilities as well.  Establishing and managing business relationships and communicating with staff members, parents, and other stakeholders is an important function of Melanie’s daily agenda.

Melanie is originally from Germany, where she worked as a Pediatric Nurse for eleven years before moving to the United States in 2011.  She is also a certified Mentor and Practical Instructor for Specialized Health Care Professions and obtained her bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management from the University of Maryland University College in 2018.

Melanie understands the needs of children and their families on the autism spectrum personally and professionally.  She is a member of the Cherry Hill Special Education Parent Teacher Association (CHSEPTA), and enjoys working out, reading, traveling, and spending time with her son.

Jodie Littwin

Parent Liasion, Founder

Jodie received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and then went on to graduate from New York University with a Master’s Degree in Recreational Therapy.  Growing up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Jodie has always loved helping people. Her work at Connect Plus Therapy is driven by that desire to help others, including her own 22 year-old son who is on the autism spectrum. Jodie is also the mother to triplets. She is one who “gets it” and truly understands the parent’s perspective, when raising a child with special needs.

In addition to her work at Connect Plus, Jodie also serves her community as a member of the Katz Jewish Community Center, as a former member of the Federation Department of Jewish Education and through her involvement in the Friendship Circle endeavor. She worked at the JCC in the summer as camp counselor for 2 year olds to get her “baby fix.”

In the summer of 2019, Jodie took on her largest endeavor yet for Connect Plus Therapy. With the help of an amazing team, she was the director of Camp Connect, a 9 week summer experience for children on the autism spectrum. Her goal was to create a typical camp experience for her clients. This summer Connect Plus hopes to expand this venture and offer a summer experience for young adults.
