Connect Plus Therapy

Covid-19 Policy FL

  • In order to keep us all safe we expect the following from our clients:

    • Provide Connect Plus Therapy staff with regular accurate information about the status of being exposed to someone who tested positive or with COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath)
    • Provide Connect Plus Therapy staff with daily accurate information about the status of all members of the household in regards to showing any signs of COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC (fever, cough, shortness of breath) before drop-off or staff coming to your home
    • Take a daily temperature check of everyone in the household and immediately notify Connect Plus Therapy staff if someone has a temperature of 100.4 or higher

    In addition, we ask that you agree to the following in line with CDC guidelines:

    • All members of the household agree to wash hands frequently (including after sneezing, coughing, blowing nose, touching face, or consuming food or drink) and use hand sanitizers with an alcohol content of 60% or more
    • If services are being rendered in the home, the space, materials, and toys the client and clinician will be using, must be thoroughly sanitized with disinfectants (alcohol content of 60% or more) before and after each session, to include the restroom that the technician will be using
    • All members of the household agree to use social distancing while interacting with staff in the home
    • Staff will not bring toys and materials into the home

    Our staff agrees to follow the same terms. You will be immediately notified should the status of our staff change and potential exposure information will be shared with you, while maintaining required confidentiality. Please be advised that if they or you become infected and/or exposed, we must put services on hold.

    These events render us unable to continue services:

    • Not following any of the guidelines listed above
    • Any member of the household coming into contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
    • Any member of the household showing signs of COVID-19 as outlined by the CDC (fever, cough, shortness of breath)
    • Any member of the household has a fever of 100.4 or higher
    • Federal or State Agencies prohibit services

    In the event a client or household member falls ill:

    • Please inform the staff immediately before the start of the session
    • We encourage you to see a medical professional following the guidelines of the CDC
    • Services are on hold until symptoms have vanished and a negative test result can be presented
    • If the client or household member tests positive without symptoms, services will be on hold until a negative test result can be presented

    In the event a client or household member falls ill:

    • Immediately inform HR, the Clinical Director, and scheduler
    • Do NOT come to work
    • We advise you to see a medical provider following CDC regulations
    • You can come back to work if you are 3 days with no fever, respiratory symptoms have improved, your test was negative, and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared
    • If you have tested positive without symptoms, you can return to work after a 10-day period followed by a negative test result
